Gunning for the top spot is good but it could also become dangerous. The fear of losing could make people to do the unthinkable. If you must win, are you still playing by the rules? do not be like that athlete that takes steroids because they want to win at all costs. The true definition of integrity is doing what is right whether in secret or in the open. People crave to be number one, they want recognition, the applause, the awards or the profits, is it worth losing your soul over? Look inwards and determine those areas you are beginning to compromise and make amends today. The only one whose opinion matters in your life is the most High God. He is the One who will examine us at the end of our life’s journey, make sure pride and the quest for an exalted worldly status doesn’t deprive you of the most precious things afforded you by the saving grace of Christ Jesus.
