True followers of Jesus Christ will not compromise with sin. They understand that even though they are in the world, they are not of this world. They are not afraid to represent and defend God’s Kingdom. They do not seek popularity or cheap fame. They know that because of their uncommon lifestyle, they will attract hatred, criticism, will suffer persecution or they might even be ostracized from society. They understand more importantly that they are special to God, the called-out ones and that their destinies are crucial in God’s overall plan for humanity. Above all, they strive daily to live impactful lives in the manner in which they influence the world’s culture with their Christian values. Are you still afraid of being hated because you are a God fearing Christian? today, ask God for courage to live truthfully because of your Christian convictions.
